A hospital in Rhode Island is seeking a physician assistant or acute care/critical care nurse practitioner to provide surgical ICU coverage during night shifts from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am. Both weekday and weekend shifts are available, offering flexibility for experienced providers who thrive in a high-acuity critical care environment. This role includes direct patient management within the SICU, with required procedural skills including intubations, and the opportunity to participate in clinical education within an academic setting.
Providers will work alongside a collaborative care team utilizing Meditech as the EMR, making this an excellent opportunity for APPs who enjoy critical care medicine and teaching-focused environments.
