Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
Requirements
- Must have: Over 3 years of experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering or Data Science teams, and familiarity with Data Science principles
- 1-2 years of experience in Product Management, related roles, or Consulting, closely working with Data Scientists and Engineers
- Strong background in AI, data analytics, and leveraging clinical or claims data to accelerate insights and generate value
- Proven experience in managing stakeholders effectively
- Familiarity with AI technologies such as GenAI, machine learning, and deep learning is preferred
- In-depth understanding of various healthcare data types, including their nuances, common use cases, and limitations; experience with analytics tools like Tableau is a plus
- Strong passion for the Healthcare sector, aiming to improve healthcare efficiency
- Technical product management experience and/or prompt engineering experience is advantageous
- Proven track record of fostering collaborative decision-making within a complex stakeholder landscape
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa
- Experience managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Capacity to drive results in a complex environment and navigate ambiguity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field – Bachelor’s degree is essential
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product specifications to articulate feature needs for Data Science, Engineering, and Stakeholder teams
- Assist Engineering and Data Science teams in feature implementation by clarifying requirements and facilitating technical discussions, ensuring that technical team members understand user and business perspectives
- Foster problem-solving and prioritization across teams, weighing trade-offs between speed, scalability, and quality
- Execute user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to guide product decisions and test hypotheses
- Collaborate with clinicians to understand clinical best practices, requirements, and validate AI outputs
- Define, monitor, and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement
- Prepare, refine, and communicate business cases to key stakeholders to gather feedback and secure buy-in
- Engage with internal customers, end users, and other stakeholders to manage product roadmaps effectively
- Coordinate and clarify dependencies with other product teams and stakeholders while proactively addressing risks
- Support the creation and maintenance of frameworks for release management, product planning, and launches
- Advocate for Agile methodologies and lean practices in product development
