OverviewThe CVS Health VP of Health 100 Engineering and Digital Delivery Engineering is a highly-technical leader responsible for creating technical solutions, design and estimation of initiatives across the Health
100 Product & Engineering organization.
- Lead high‑complexity/high‑impact development initiatives and provide technical leadership for key projects.
- Develop engineering solutions for Retail pharmacy T&D projects and initiatives.
- Create and communicate best practices and prescriptions on the ideal usage of technology components.
- Promote simplicity, reuse and componentization of solutions.
- Validate the quality of technology deployed and intervene when standards fall short.
- Ensure operational readiness of solutions through technical reviews.
- Drive down technology cost by promoting reuse and componentization.
- Research and implement practices that contribute to a lean organization.
- Contribute to budgetary and planning activities.
- Shed technology estimates through funding and approval process.
- Maintain communication of the project portfolio throughout engineering teams.
- Create and maintain a training plan to ensure consistency in solution engineering adoption.
- Build an engineering practice that values simple solutions and high standards.
- Stay aware of best practices and emerging technologies and assess their viability at PCW T&D.
- 15+ years technology leadership experience in large corporate organizations with a focus on pharmacy/healthcare.
- 5+ years experience building large‑volume digital healthcare (Pharmacy preferred) applications in a consumer‑focused organization.
- Multiyear experience in technology product evaluation and building multitenant technology to support a large number of B2B partners.
- Strong people‑management skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a highly motivated team.
- Exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills.
- Expertise in technology research & development methods and tools, and sponsorship of multi‑disciplined efforts.
- Expertise in technology consulting and leading teams of technical resources.
- Working knowledge of developing metrics and key performance indicators to measure technology effectiveness.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Pay Range$0.00 - $0.00 (base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary). The actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors; this position may include bonus, commission or short‑term incentive and an equity award program.
