Position Summary

Within the CVS Paid Media organization, you will play a critical role in developing our long‑term marketing technology and ad technology product vision across all lines of business within CVS Health and will ensure we translate longer‑term strategic visions into working solutions that maximize our digital media capabilities.

This role will be responsible for management oversight of user identity work, using strategic vision to oversee media tagging and data connectivity platforms to drive value across the marketing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting strategic oversight of ad technology product planning and rollout.
  • Single‑source owner for data collection, activation strategies, and implementation, including securing cross‑functional alignment on project scope, benefits, cost, and timelines.
  • Lead the process to identify new opportunities and needs for media activation and measurement and support brainstorming of new Ad Tech & Mar Tech use cases.
  • Define, document, and implement business requirements, policies, and processes; balance short‑term value delivery with long‑term efficiency and governance.
  • Design, build, and maintain a set of processes and products for monitoring different data collection configurations and analytical reporting suites.
  • Lead cross‑enterprise collaboration with business and technology partners on the collection and enablement of media data and pseudonymous consumer data.
  • Act as the key liaison between technology and business users on user identity projects via Live Ramp.
  • Provide product ownership of the Live Ramp identity tool and guide analytics and media stakeholders on best practices and governance for audience strategy, first‑party targeting, and user identification.
  • Lead exploration and recommend how Live Ramp can enhance existing technology tools such as Innovid, Google, and The Trade Desk.
  • Directly manage the vendor relationship with Live Ramp to ensure proper project prioritization and use of innovation funds.
  • Provide thought leadership and execution to achieve goals while maintaining privacy compliance.
  • Collaborate on data governance to ensure consistent and compliant use of data across owned properties.
  • Own the ongoing management of media tagging capability, including the structure and design of tags on CVS websites (focused on Trade Desk & Google tags).
  • Maintain processes and products for monitoring different data collection configurations and audience enablement.
  • Set key tagging priorities within a tag management system.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Ad Technology.
  • 5+ years of experience with data identity tools (Live Ramp, Acxiom, etc.).
  • Expertise in data connectivity platforms, such as Live Ramp, Acxiom, or Commerce Signals.
  • Expertise in SQL coding or media tagging.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency with media tags such as Trade Desk, Google Floodlight, or Innovid.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with digital marketing or data science/analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; confident public speaking is a plus.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
  • High levels of self‑motivation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi‑task across numerous projects with many moving pieces.
Education

4‑year undergraduate degree in marketing, analytics, communications, or computer science.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $82,940.00 – $.
