Position Description
Manufactures parts, sub‑assemblies and assemblies per safety, quality and productivity specifications. Assembles sheet metal parts using hand and power tools. Builds and wires electrical components. Works from written and verbal schedules. Reports damage to supervisor. Operates one or more units of the following type of production equipment: press brakes, spot welders, or other similar or related devices. Makes simple setups and/or minor adjustments to the equipment required to produce a variety of products and to maintain processes per specifications.
Performs assembly singly or in combination with other operations. Performs material handling operations as directed. Pulls from stock, assembles and packs to complete orders. Responsible for quality of own work. Maintains accurate production records. Responsible for keeping work area clean, safe and orderly. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Must be able to lift 50lbs while standing. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
