Location:
Woonsocket, RI.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (possible 12-hour shifts 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as needed); weekends as needed. Pay:
Up to $24.00 per hour (DOE) + comprehensive benefits.
As a Plant Operator, you will support the production of specialty metal materials by operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment in a controlled industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities- Operating, monitoring, and adjusting metal processing equipment
- Following established production schedules and work instructions
- Recording production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics
- Inspecting materials to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Troubleshooting process issues and communicating concerns to supervision
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards
- This is a hands-on role requiring focus, mechanical awareness, and a strong commitment to safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Team-oriented mindset and clear communication skills
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling
- Lifting up to 60 lbs. regularly
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Competitive pay up to $24/hour (based on experience)
