Quality Technician II

• Ensure or establish controls for products and processes related to various technical functions meeting customer and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and improve Integer quality systems.
• Carries out responsibilities with little to no supervision.
• Compile or complete quality records, reports, and/or documentation ensuring GDP (Good Documentation Practices) are applied.
• Participate in problem solving and provide input for process/product evaluations for continuous improvement.
• Utilize equipment and ensure current calibration; may repair, modify, and/or maintain equipment.
• Perform inspections in accordance with authorized specification and applicable quality standards.
• Make recommendations to existing work instructions to improve quality, clarity, and/or efficiency.
• Set up and run testing according to procedures or engineering direction; may perform failure analysis and/or troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as assigned; grow on the job and help others succeed.
• Expand skill base through on‑the‑job training, cross training, and classroom instruction; may train personnel in proper techniques to utilize systems, equipment, and processes.
• Provide support/guidance, data, and analysis to other departments.
• Continuously seek to drive improvements in product and process quality; identify and escalates quality non‑conformances to assist in achieving company quality objectives and key business metrics.
• Adhere to Integer core beliefs, safety and quality requirements and applicable regulations described in the quality management system (QMS).
• Own quality and act as a standard bearer for quality in everything we do at Integer.

• High school graduate or equivalent may be required; associate degree or experience in area of technical expertise may be preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Integer work experience or 3 years of related manufacturing industry experience may be required; associate’s degree may substitute for years of experience.
• Understanding of GD&T and ISO
  9001/ISO
  13485 quality standards (preferred).
• Product knowledge helpful.
• Computer operation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Experience with measurement tools/equipment and hand gages to measure physical dimensions on parts.
• Good organizational and communication skills; detail oriented and organized.
• Specialization:
  Quality – identify and evaluate procedures to ensure the production of quality product; conduct dimensional testing; provide technical support; handle product issues with operators; write technical reports and quality documentation.
