The Celebrations & Gifting team is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Category Analyst to support our Front Store Merchandising organization.
In this position, you will play a critical role in shaping the customer experience across 7,000+ stores. You will be instrumental in delivering the best products and promotions to our customers by leveraging strong analytical skills to evaluate sales trends, identify opportunities and optimize merchandising strategies.
- Shape customer experience across 7,000+ stores.
- Deliver best products and promotions by evaluating sales trends and identifying opportunities.
- Optimize merchandising strategies through analytical skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions.
- Develop actionable insights and create mitigation strategies to address business challenges.
- 2+ years’ experience using pricing/promotional strategies, including customer research, problem definition, prototype development and iteration, etc., in a retail and/or corporate environment.
- Prior experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials.
- Prior experience analyzing and synthesizing data.
- Prior experience analyzing market trends, successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook.
- Travel—up to 10% travel may be required, based on needs of the business.
- Certified Market Research Analyst (CMRA) preferred.
Associates degree, or equivalent experience.
Anticipated Weekly Hours40 hours per week.
Pay Range$43,888.00 – $93,574.00 (base salary). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
