Job Description:
We are looking for a talented individual to join our Residential High Efficiency HVAC team as an Account Manager supporting the installation of high efficiency heating, cooling, and domestic hot water equipment in homes across Rhode Island. You will work directly with contractors and customers to promote program rebates, understand rebate requirements, support proper equipment installation, and provide training on testing for optimal heat‑pump operation.
You should occasionally travel around Rhode Island.

- Perform QC inspections and travel throughout Rhode Island to inspect program‑rebated equipment to verify make and model and review installation
- Provide feedback to contractors as needed and respond to and provide ongoing support to resolve customer and contractor issues
- Provide HVAC contractor training and support; train contractors on program testing procedures; develop and share resources to promote best installation practices
- Provide technical review by reviewing contractor testing data and providing feedback
- Provide customer support and education; educate customers about high efficiency HVAC equipment including heat pumps and heat pump water heaters; present at customer events and trainings; assist with applying for rebates and selecting systems and contractors
- Develop and share best practices for operating heat pumps; gather customer feedback regarding contractor installation and rebate process
- Engage industry partners; travel to local manufacturers, distributors, and HVAC companies to engage industry stakeholders with the program
- Identify and enroll HVAC companies in the program; attend and present at industry events and conferences; promote program rebates and the value of performance testing
- Residential HVAC installation background;
Service Manager experience preferred - Proven ability to learn and process technical information from many different sources
- Strong interpersonal, writing, verbal communication, and reporting skills
- Detail oriented with ability to balance and manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently and in a team setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Target Compensation: $66,000 - $70,000
- Compensation Range: $65,800.00 - $98,700.00
Additional requirements:
This is a safety‑sensitive position and may include field work. Applicants must pass a pre‑employment drug test and a motor vehicle report. Holding a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
