Equipment Technician
We are seeking a technician to support the refurbishment, troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repair of laboratory and analytical equipment. While direct experience with specific laboratory instruments is not required, candidates must possess strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and a willingness to learn complex systems. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
- Repair and replace equipment components.
- Perform testing and validation of repaired equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance activities.
- Document repair activities and reports.
- Work alongside existing technicians during training.
- Learn company equipment and processes over time.
- Strong troubleshooting experience.
- Experience repairing equipment, machines, systems, or technical devices.
- Ability to work hands-on with tools and physical components.
- Ability to logically diagnose and solve problems.
- Strong learning mindset.
- Comfortable working independently and with a team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in an analytical laboratory environment.
- Equipment maintenance experience.
- Preventative maintenance experience.
- Electronics troubleshooting.
- Instrumentation experience.
- Experience with medical devices or pharmaceutical equipment.
- Military technical maintenance experience (such as Air Force, Army, Navy maintenance experience).

Work EnvironmentThe work environment operates on a flexible 1st shift schedule, with current team hours ranging from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. New employees will align with their trainer's schedule during initial training.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woonsocket, RI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $31.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
