Mechanic - K5 - Woonsocket, RI

• $18-$40 Per Hour (Depending on experience)

Based in Massachusetts, we are a leading pavement marking company dedicated to enhancing roadway safety across New England and beyond. We specialize in high-quality pavement markings, signage, traffic control operations, and sweeping services.

• Monday-Friday
• 40+ hours
• Saturdays as needed

Areas of specific responsibility will include the following.

• Perform vehicle repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and will perform optimally.
• Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections and annual maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
• Ensure work orders are completed properly and accurately (including hours and usage of parts).
• Evaluate completed work, and if necessary, consult with supervisor to ensure machine/truck is functioning properly and meets safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment (Safety is not just our first name!).
• Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor in an effective and timely manner.

Important technical skills/functional abilities include:

• Vocational or technical degree in vehicle maintenance is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Must be able to lift or move 40 lbs. and complete repetitive lifting, bending, and stooping or kneeling.
• Must have appropriate mechanic’s toolset.
• One to two years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Good people skills – patient, cooperative, and a positive attitude!
• Isuzu, Peterbilt, Ford, International, Paccar and Cummins experience is a plus.
