Senior Software Development Engineer. Responsible for designing, developing and implementing digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects. Analyze and assist with the design, development and support of Third Party Financial Applications and platforms.

• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, components, and frameworks to meet business requirements
• Requirements analysis to determine feasibility of design and plan the technical aspects of implementation
• Configure and test software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Write, debug, and review high quality code, and track and resolve production issues
• Design and develop applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices

• 5+ years of experience with one or more of the following technologies:
  Mainframe Technology - CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, HP-JCL, VSAM, HP-COBOL, Unix
• 2+ years of experience in developing SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and Git Hub EMU, CICD Tools and ControlM Scheduling, PL SQL, Unix scripting and Informatica
• Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Azure and GCP and Pharmacy Accounts receivable business experience

• Third Party Accounts Receivable application business knowledge preferred
• Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles. Health care industry knowledge and background preferred

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

The pay range represents the base salary for positions within this job grade. The actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors. This position may be eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
