Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounting activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of trial balances across entities.
- Leverage advanced Excel skills for financial data analysis and reconciliation.
- Support data mapping, validation, and reconciliation efforts related to the ERP transition.
- Assist with financial reporting to ensure data consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot discrepancies and improve data integrity.
- Support process documentation and standardization as part of system and process improvements.
- Participate in ad hoc accounting and analysis projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of general accounting experience in manufacturing or multi-entity environments preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
- Understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial close processes.
- High attention to detail with ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across finance and business teams.
Skills & Qualifications
- Exposure to or experience with international accounting and multi-entity consolidations.
- Prior involvement in ERP implementations or system conversions, particularly SAP.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or global organization.
- Familiarity with data migration, chart of accounts mapping, and system testing.
The office is undergoing renovations, which will provide significant upgrades to the workspace.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Wooster, OH.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
