• Ohio Licensure Intervention Specialist (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intensive)
• Master's Degree preferred
• Highly Qualified in all four (4) major content areas
• Excellent evaluations and performance reviews
• Familiarity with Ohio s New Learning Standards
• Training and experience with the use of computers and other educational technology as teaching tools
• Demonstrates experience with Positive Behavioral Supports and has documented evidence of intensive and moderate research-based interventions
• Demonstrates ability to develop well-written IEPs with evidence of standards-based instruction
• Demonstrates ability to consistently plan and execute an educational program to accommodate the needs of students as prescribed by the IEP
• Demonstrates ability to keep accurate records of progress toward IEP goals and objectives
• Completes necessary reports and record keeping as required by state and local policies and procedures
• Demonstrates experience with inclusive instructional models to assure that all students with needs are taught in the least restrictive environment
• Demonstrates ability in assessing students learning styles and developing multi-modal teaching strategies
• Assists students in assessing their abilities and in establishing educational, vocational, and occupational goals in keeping with those abilities
• Demonstrates ability to develop rapport with student, parents, teachers and administrators
• Communicates regularly with parents and professional staff regarding the educational, social, and personal needs of students
• Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively within inter-disciplinary teams and participate in the following: TBTs, RtI meetings, placement meetings, IEP meetings, and parent conferences
• Supports students  behavior needs by following behavior plans consistently and communicating behavior plans to all team members for behavior consistency

• Assists in planning and delivering an educational program to accommodate the needs of students as prescribed by the IEP
• Demonstrates ability to keep accurate records of progress toward IEP goals and objectives

• Interacts with students, parents, teachers and administrators to develop rapport and support student success
• Communicates regularly with parents and professional staff regarding the educational, social, and personal needs of students
• Works cooperatively within inter-disciplinary teams and participates in TBTs, RtI meetings, placement meetings, IEP meetings, and parent conferences
• Maintains and follows behavioral plans, and communicates plans to team members for consistency
