YourKey Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement activities for custom built special machinery projects in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Organize complex purchasing projects involving extensive specification of requirements or negotiation processes for projects.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and other commercial aspects of contracts with vendors.
- Define sourcing activities and execute project related purchasing activities (incl. Make-or-Buy analysis) for the respective business unit/product line.
- Source and evaluate vendors for specialized mechanical, electrical, and automation components.
- Take responsibility for component-specific cost validation and alignment.
- Cooperate closely with interfaces along the supply chain and execute change management in projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with project goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum one year of practical experience.
- Proven experience in procurement and project purchasing.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Strong project management and planning skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
