Karing Hands Provider Services LLC is currently looking for skilled and compassionate Direct Care Staff to be a House Team Lead provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

As a direct support professional, you will provide assistance and guidance with:

• Cooking: including but not limited to creating a shopping list, storage, and inventory of food and dietary items, food prep, and cleaning.
• Laundry: including but not limited to the inventory of clothing, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and storing clothing, and routine machine maintenance/cleaning.
• Using durable medical equipment.
• Cleaning, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of the individual's home including bedrooms, closets, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, laundry room, outdoor spaces, basement, and vehicles.
• Personal care, including but not limited to assisting clients with eating, bathing and grooming such as shaving, hair care, nail care, and toileting.
• Provide transportation for individuals as needed using C8 and/or personal vehicles as applicable.
• Maintaining a positive and supportive attitude.
• Ensure documentation is completed at the end of each shift.

This shift is full‑time afternoons Monday‑Friday. On Monday and Tuesday, the hours are 2pm am to 10pm .

• Provide supervision and guidance to each consumer in accordance with his/her Individual Service Plan
• Assist each consumer in planning and implementing in‑home and community‑based activities
• Administer medications where indicated and appropriate
• Act as role models and promote positive lifestyles for each consumer
• Advocate for the safety and well‑being of each consumer to appropriate management personnel
• Provide physical assistance as needed, including but not limited to, personal care, housekeeping and transportation

• Celebrate the abilities of adults with developmental disabilities
• Be a champion for inclusion and self‑determination in homes, communities, and workplaces
• Help end the stigma surrounding physical and developmental disabilities
• Form close relationships with the people you serve
