The Human Resources Generalist provides day-to-day HR support across benefits, compliance, and HR operations. This role supports onboarding, tracks training, prepares reports, and contributes to engagement and safety initiatives—all while handling sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.

- Maintains employee records, HR documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Leads new hire orientation and benefits administration.
- Provides on-site HR support, including mail processing and local onboarding support.
- Responds to routine employee inquiries; escalates complex issues as needed.
- Administers HR programs and benefits, including leave, retirement, health plans, and ACA reporting.
- Analyzes HR data and prepares reports to support decision-making.
- Supports compensation, engagement, safety, recruiting, and audit activities.
- Contributes to HR projects, process improvements, and stays current on HR trends and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field and at least 2 years of HR experience OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of HR experience OR 6+ years of HR experience without a degree
- HR Certification preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn HRIS and related systems
