Maintenance technician

Position: maintenance technician.
Spherion - Up to $33.00/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, wearing required PPE, properly handling tools and equipment, keeping work areas clean, responding to emergencies, and adhering to SOPs and company policies.;
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on plant systems and mechanical equipment using manuals and specifications; safely operate, maintain, lubricate, and clean tools, equipment, and machinery.;
Complete minor electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing instruments; inspect and measure parts to identify wear or dimensional changes.;
Disassemble equipment using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and cranes to access, repair, or replace defective components.;
Set up and operate metalworking equipment, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, band saws, end mills, and pipe threaders, to repair or fabricate parts and tools.
