GPM Automation Operator I
Work Location:
Wooster, OH USA. Shift: Shift 3 Wooster.
This position operates fully automatic assembly cells by ensuring machine hoppers are full with molded and purchased components. Responsible for quality testing of product being produced on shift. Troubleshoots and makes minor adjustments to equipment. Monitors and inspects quality of materials produced. Packs items for shipping and distribution.
Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesMajor Tasks
- Quality testing of product being produced
- This position operates fully automatic assembly cells by ensuring machine hoppers are full with molded and purchased components.
- Responsible for quality testing of product being produced on shift.
- Troubleshoots and makes minor adjustments to equipment.
- Monitors and inspects quality of materials produced.
- Packs items for shipping and distribution.
General Tasks
- Basic troubleshooting of machine faults to maximize productivity
- Complies with safety procedures and supports a safe working environment
- Understands the function of each molded component and finished assembly
- Visually inspects components for defects and contamination

- High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED) required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Direct Manufacturing/Distribution - 100% On‑Site.
Travel RequirementsTravel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed.
FLSA StatusNon‑Exempt.
Compensation & BenefitsThe starting pay rate for this role is $19.08 per hour. In addition to base pay, all team members are bonus eligible. Benefits include 401(k) match, parental leave, and onsite well‑being care.
