Operator II, Battery Plant, 3rd Shift

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information.

* Check production status within and in between each production sequence and taking action in case of deviations.

* Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes.

* Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts and follow proper protocol.

* Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.

* Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Your Qualifications

Required:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent.

* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English.

* Ability to operate medium complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.

* Good visual acuity.

* Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.

* Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Preferred:

* Minimum of one (1) year of experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment.

* Experience working with power tools.

* Ability to read blueprints.
