Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

Maintenance Technician – Garland, TX (2nd and 3rd Shifts). The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, supporting automated systems, and ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety standards.

• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment across processing, packaging, warehouse systems, and plant utilities.
• Support highly automated equipment including fillers, case packers, palletizers, and conveyors.
• Maintain utility systems such as boilers, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration, and wastewater systems.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Support building maintenance as needed.

• Electrical: Ability to read electrical schematics; 480 V 3‑phase troubleshooting and wiring; low‑voltage controls; VFDs and servo systems.
• Mechanical: Welding (MIG, TIG, Arc); pumps, valves, gearboxes; pneumatic and hydraulic systems; mill and lathe experience preferred.
• Controls: Allen Bradley PLC experience—SLC 500, PLC 5, Logix 5000.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Food or dairy manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work active shifts.

• Starting Pay: $35+/hr plus shift premiums (10% for off‑hours, 15% for weekend work)
