YourKey Responsibilities
- Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete
8000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instructionspecific to the trade - Work closely with a Journeyperson to create/maintain CNC programs using CAM and must be proficient in understanding NC code and writing NC programming manually
- Work closely with a Journeyperson to develop new processes, and optimizing existing turning, milling, and grinding processes for automotive components
- Optimize processes for improving tool life and cost, process capability and cycle time
- Requires a highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and apply acquired skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Hands-on learner
- CNC machining
- Accuracy in measurement
- Metal cutting practices
- Math
- Enthusiasticabout their career in skilled trades
- Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
- Positive work ethic
