Process Tech
Inova Staffing Services is looking for a temp-to-hire Process Tech for one of our clients in Wooster, OH. Compensation &
Hours:
- 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 2:45pm-10:45pm
- $20-22/hr (Based on experience)
- Weekends as needed
An Injection Molding Process Technician is a skilled professional who sets up, operates, monitors, and troubleshoots plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. They possess a strong understanding of materials, tooling, and equipment specific to the injection molding process.

Job Duties:
- Machine Setup:
Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and ensure proper functioning of auxiliary equipment. - Process Monitoring:
Continuously observe machine operation, monitor part quality, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent production. - Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve processing issues such as defects, inconsistencies, and machine malfunctions. - Quality Control:
Inspect finished parts for defects, measure dimensions, and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment, and report any major repairs needed. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of process parameters, production data, and maintenance activities. - Safety:
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills and
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree in a related field are a plus.
- Proven experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials (thermoplastics), and tooling.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot processing issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Scientific molding principles and techniques is preferred.
- Experience with automation and robotics in Injection mold is a Plus.
- Knowledge of Single stage and Two stage blow molding is an added advantage.
