Set Up Operator II – CNC

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and program operating machines, including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences
• Oversee machine ramp-up after setup and support Operators in operating machines
• Support maintenance with machine repair, downtime prevention, and inspections
• Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking
• Check finished products/product components and submit them for approval
• Follow safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English
• Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for inspection
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
• Must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• Preferred: minimum of two years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with power tools preferred
  
  Ability to read blueprints preferred

Demonstrates proficiency in operating and programming medium-complex machinery while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Capable of effectively communicating instructions and maintaining accurate records in a manufacturing environment.
