BMS Registered Nurse (RN)

The BMS Registered Nurse (RN) in this full-time, first-shift position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within a healthcare setting, specifically focusing on behavioral and medical support services. This role is designed to provide consistent nursing care without the demands of weekend or holiday shifts, promoting work-life balance while maintaining excellent patient outcomes. The RN will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in primary care.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Experience working with Internal Medicine or Primary Care
• Experience with capturing quality metrics and completing Medicare Annual Wellness visits
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses and documenting outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and effective patient care.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Manage patient records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
