Forklift Operator

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Job Summary:
A Wooster company is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Wooster, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of trailers using a sit-down style forklift, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving of products through proper paperwork and an RF Scanning system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down style forklift to load and unload trailers efficiently.
• Accurately ship and receive products using proper paperwork and RF Scanning systems.
• Ensure all products are handled safely and securely.
• Must have high attention to detail for quality inspection and data entry into Software.
• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Familiar with RF scanning or have the ability to learn.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift is preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little notice and on weekends as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in shipping/receiving tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Must be willing to work overtime with little notice and weekends as required.

Compensation:

• $18 per hour
