Warehouse Associate

Position Purpose

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for managing the receiving, stocking, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products within the warehouse and branch settings. The role supports customers by ensuring accurate inventory handling, compliance with safety protocols, and timely order fulfillment.

• Receive, count, verify and unload incoming orders and shipments, logging all materials accurately.
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks and customer vehicles, ensuring correct documentation and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse and yard, conducting general office maintenance and upholding workplace safety.
• Manage inventory by distributing materials to storage areas, rotating stock, and reporting discrepancies or damages.
• Provide customer service by leveraging knowledge of company products and facilitating clear communication with customers and teammates.
• Foster a team‑first environment by collaborating with colleagues and maintaining a cooperative work culture.
• Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines to support overall warehouse productivity.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, following operational guidelines.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and math for inventory counts.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and team skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective time‑management and ability to work safely.

• Forklift operator certification.
• Experience in high‑volume distribution environments.
• Proficiency with inventory management software and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of industry‑specific software applications.
• Second language proficiency (e.g., Spanish).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and conduct of safety audits and training.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring abilities.
• Adaptability, resilience under pressure, and professional demeanor.

High School diploma or equivalent.
