Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a dynamic manufacturing company in Worcester, Massachusetts. This Contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the organization by managing essential accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing, along with proficiency in Quick Books.

Responsibilities:

- Organize and maintain payroll documents by filing and scanning records accurately.

- Process invoices in a timely and efficient manner to ensure proper documentation and payment.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while maintaining accurate financial records.

- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain financial databases and systems.

- Utilize Quick Books to track and manage company financial information.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve discrepancies.

- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial information.

- Assist in preparing reports and summaries for management as needed.

- Support the accounting team with various administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and familiarity with other accounting software tools.

- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ability to process invoices and maintain organized financial records.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
