Senior Staff Accountant

Position: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Worcester, MA
Salary: $80,000–$100,000

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with the month-end and year-end close process
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other key financial records
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation
• Partner with cross-functional departments to improve accounting processes and maintain strong internal controls
• Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives, including leveraging Excel and AI tools to increase efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of general ledger and month-end close
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience utilizing AI tools to improve productivity is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply
