Cunningham & Associates (C&A) is seeking an experienced, highly organized Office Manager to ensure our firm runs efficiently, professionally, and at a high standard of client service.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced professional services environment and takes ownership of systems, people coordination, and office performance. The Office Manager serves as the operational backbone of the firm, ensuring workflows move smoothly, deadlines are met, and the office environment reflects the professionalism of our brand.
We are seeking someone who brings experience, judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
Key Responsibilities Office & Operations Leadership- Oversee day-to-day office operations and workflow management
- Ensure smooth coordination across tax, operations, and administrative teams
- Monitor internal processes and implement efficiency improvements
- Manage peak-season logistics, staffing coordination, and workflow tracking
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems (Share File and internal platforms)
- Oversee vendor relationships and office service providers
- Ensure a professional, welcoming client experience
- Manage front desk operations, phones, and client communications
- Coordinate meeting schedules, conference room management, and light catering
- Handle escalated client administrative issues with professionalism
- Supervise invoicing, payables, and administrative accounting support
- Review invoice coding and vendor payments for accuracy
- Assist with monthly reporting and operational metrics
- Support leadership with internal reporting and documentation tracking
- Help train and onboard administrative team members
- Set expectations for service standards and workflow compliance
- Identify process gaps and recommend solutions
- Serve as a point of accountability for office systems and deadlines
- 5+ years of experience in office management or operations leadership
- Experience in a professional services environment (accounting, legal, consulting, financial services preferred)
- Strong organizational and workflow management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Experience managing vendors and administrative processes
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
