Job Title
Staffing Coordinator
Purpose of PositionUnder the general direction of the Laboratory Outreach Director, this position is responsible for the overall coordination of staffing schedules for the CCHC Laboratories Outreach. Staffing schedule preparation and maintenance will be done in a way that is consistent with operational, financial and patient satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the preparation and maintenance of the daily/weekly/monthly staffing schedules for the Outreach department.
- Handle all aspects related to employee time records prior to timecard processing (sick calls, filling open shifts, sign‑ups and daily schedule reconciliation).
- Collect and collate vacation time requests for supervisory approval.
- Assist management in tracking open FMLA cases and the use of FMLA hours.
- Act as the central communication source regarding staffing and scheduling issues; serve as a resource to all supervisors and staff.
- Standardize all scheduling in compliance with pay practices and SEIU Union regulations.
- Co‑ordinate overall department staffing and scheduling in line with budget and patient needs.
- Assist employees with the use of the ATSS system.
- Track absenteeism and tardiness and generate reports for Department Directors/Supervisors.
- Manage daily call traffic on the Attendance Line and provide payroll support to department supervisors and staff.
- Successfully manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Perform other work‑related duties as assigned or requested.
- Consistently provide service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co‑workers in a manner that reflects CCHC Laboratories’ commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service.
- High School graduate or equivalent; college degree preferred plus basic technical training, usually one year or more.
- Intermediate computer ability;
Outlook, Word, Excel and ATSS.
Massachusetts – Hyannis
Pay range: $22.78 – $28.50 per hour (incl. benefits such as healthcare/dental/vision and retirement; compensation may vary based on experience, skill set and education).
