Facilitate the processing of all billing for the 5 Skilled Nursing Facilities. Ensure the timely submission and follow up on all claims. (except Private and PPAs) Also responsible for billing reporting and communication to the facilities.
Key Responsibilities Processing of Billing- Verify census and billing information that is entered into PCC
- Enter all ancillaries
- Ensure that all billing information and authorizations have been entered
- Prepare for month end billing
- Submit all original claims electronically for Medicaid, Medicare and Managed Care. Ensure that all coinsurance claims are billed correctly.
- Perform all collection follow up
- Post all cash
- Participate in all billing and collection meetings
- Work collaboratively with the facilities and the BO liaisons
- 3-5 years’ experience in SNF Billing and collections
- Basic Accounting skills
- Work with people in a culturally diverse population, including staff, residents and family members.
- Ability to multi-task, handling multiple applications at once.
- Highly organized, motivated and eager to resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain excellent communication with administrators and the BO liaisons in the facilities
- Education:
High School diploma required;
Post HS coursework/Associate Degree preferred

SEDENTARY - Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves sitting most of the time but may also require walking or standing for brief periods.
Requires the use of hands and fingers to handle files/papers/records.
Requires stopping and reaching to file in file cabinets.
Requires access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license to travel to various locations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to solve problems, make decisions, interpret data, and organize.
Ability to do detailed work with a high degree of concentration.
Ability to work under stress or in a fast-paced environment.
