Job Summary
The Summer Administrative Intern will provide administrative support while gaining hands‑on experience in nonprofit operations and client services. This internship offers an opportunity to develop professional communication, customer service, organization and office administration skills in a mission‑driven environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Provides administrative support by scanning, copying, organizing, and filing client documents, and completed paperwork,
- Assist with maintaining confidential records and documentation in accordance with agency policies.
- Support Family Specialists with intake‑related tasks and data entry, including entering confidential information as needed.
- Help ensure files and records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrates customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism;
- Comfortable using computers and standard office equipment;
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, identities, cultures, nationalities, and languages.
- Must successfully complete a Background Record Check prior to the start of the internship.
