Collections Specialist

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

A well-established and growing New England company is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Specialist to join its Risk Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with claims, insurance, workers' compensation, or administrative experience who enjoys investigative work, data entry, and working in a collaborative environment.

• Review incident reports and claims documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Process and maintain claim files from intake through resolution.
• Gather documentation and coordinate with internal departments, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.
• Assist employees through the claims process and return-to-work programs.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate claim information in company systems.
• Analyze claim data and prepare reports and spreadsheets.
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Risk Management and Safety teams with administrative projects as needed.

• Previous claims, insurance, workers' compensation, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
