Job Description

We seek a results‑oriented sales professional to lead multi‑year, strategic relationships with top enterprise accounts in North America. This role covers the full HPE portfolio—including Networking and hybrid cloud solutions—and requires proven ability to develop executive‑level influence, shape cross‑business‑unit transformational solutions, and close complex, high‑value deals. The target market is $3‑4 billion, providing abundant opportunities to create significant impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Account Planning:
    Own planning and execution for assigned top‑tier accounts, develop and maintain a business‑value framework aligned to customer goals.
  • Executive Relationship Building:
    Cultivate senior decision‑maker relationships (CIOs, CFOs, CEOs, etc.).
  • Complex Deal Orchestration:
    Lead multi‑BU transformation deals, manage governance, mitigate risk, oversee timelines, and drive pilots/POCs.
  • Solution Shaping:
    Reframe customer priorities to achieve maximum impact, focusing on outcomes rather than SKUs.
  • Team Leadership:
    Coordinate cross‑functional teams (business units, partners, presales, implementation) to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Outcome Tracking:
    Quantify and report account results (TCO/ROI, risk mitigation, revenue growth).
Key Qualifications
  • Strong business acumen:
    Ability to frame customer challenges, quantify impact, and connect to solutions with financial fluency.
  • Executive presence and stakeholder influence:
    Skilled at engaging senior executives and securing sponsorship for strategic initiatives.
  • Deal orchestration and program leadership:
    Proven record of aligning diverse teams, managing risk, and closing large, multi‑faced deals.
  • Self‑driven, confident communicator with a track record of exceeding revenue and growth targets.
Required Experience
  • Led multi‑year account strategies for major enterprise customers with measurable outcomes.
  • Sold integrated hardware, software, and services, emphasizing business cases over product lists.
  • Engaged senior executives across CIO, CFO, COO lines, shaping relationships with IT, procurement, finance, and mission owners.
  • Closed complex, partner‑intensive hardware, SaaS, and services deals; experience driving customer transformation initiatives.
  • Background in complex technology sales across multiple solution areas; familiarity with HPE's portfolio, including Networking and hybrid cloud.
  • Industry experience in financial services is beneficial.

Salary Information

Annual salary expected USD 305,000–609,000 in Massachusetts; USD 305,000–652,000 in New York; similar ranges in Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, and North Carolina. Compensation is a combination of base and target‑level sales, with a 60/40 base/target split.
