PCG offers a multidisciplinary approach to meet challenges, pursue opportunities, and serve constituents across the public sector. PCG is looking for an engaging, outgoing, experienced self‑starter to grow our Education Consulting business line.
Duties & Responsibilities- Serves as project manager and subject matter expert, independently managing complex projects while maintaining client interaction.
- Develops and executes growth strategies, identifies and follows up on new sales opportunities.
- Provides expertise in business operations for service and efficiency improvements.
- Develops communication plans, elicits requirements from key stakeholders, and facilitates client discussions.
- Identifies gaps and shortcomings and determines necessary workarounds.
- Develops project budgets and staffing plans to ensure high‑quality services are delivered on time and within budget, and plans and monitors ongoing project tasks.
- Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members.
- Assesses best practices and compliance errors and provides technical assistance to clients.
- Leads proposal writing teams and prepares written reports and materials for clients.
- Plays a key role in proposals and sales presentations and presents at conferences.
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of experience required; graduate degree a plus.
- At least five years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Experience in Special Education, Curriculum, or K‑12 education leadership desired.
- Strong project management skills and ability to take initiative and move projects forward within a specific timeline and budget.
- Ability to develop and implement business growth strategies, identify and close new business opportunities, and up‑sell to existing customers.
- Strong oral and written presentation skills, interpersonal skills for effective relationship building, and ability to interact with various levels of management and clients.
- Creative problem‑solving ability and consultancy mindset.
- Ability to work independently and consistently to achieve excellent results.
- Commitment to exceptional client service, dedication to accomplishing goals, and ability to critically evaluate and improve processes.
Remote position with a requirement to travel to client locations and business conferences (approximately 20–30% of the time). Additional preference for candidates in Boston, Charlotte, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Nashville regions.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $70,000 - $120,000. PCG provides a range of benefits including medical and dental care, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave. Compensation is based on factors such as location, role, skill set, and experience.
