Sr. Compliance Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Compliance Analyst to support affordable housing compliance activities for a Long-term Contract position in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role focuses on maintaining regulatory accuracy across multifamily housing programs, ensuring tenant file integrity, and helping properties remain audit-ready. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of housing compliance standards, certification processes, and regulatory documentation, along with the ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and oversight agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee compliance activity for multifamily housing programs, ensuring resident files and property records align with applicable program regulations.
  • Complete and review tenant certifications for move-ins, annual recertifications, and interim changes with a high level of accuracy.
  • Prepare required subsidy and compliance forms, including 50059 submissions, and transmit documentation through the appropriate reporting systems.
  • Investigate income and identity discrepancies, resolve file exceptions, and maintain complete supporting documentation for compliance reviews.
  • Support readiness for management and occupancy reviews as well as regulatory inspections by organizing records and addressing findings promptly.
  • Assist with contract renewal documentation and rent adjustment request packages in accordance with program and agency requirements.
  • Monitor adherence to fair housing, Section 504, accessibility, and reasonable accommodation obligations across assigned properties.
  • Use property management platforms and Excel to track compliance status, maintain reporting, and identify issues requiring follow-up.
  • Draft clear and accurate correspondence, responses, and corrective action plans for regulatory agencies and other compliance stakeholders.
