We are seeking an experienced Commercial Epoxy Flooring Project Manager to oversee resinous flooring projects in commercial and industrial environments. This role manages projects from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating with general contractors, owners, inspectors, and internal crews to deliver high-quality flooring systems on time and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong commercial construction experience, deep knowledge of epoxy and resinous flooring systems, and excels in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities- Manage commercial epoxy and resinous flooring projects from award to closeout
- Review contracts, scopes of work, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance
- Develop detailed project schedules aligned with GC master schedules
- Coordinate labor crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries across multiple job sites
- Lead pre-installation meetings and coordinate with other trades
- Track and manage project budgets, labor productivity, and material costs
- Submit RFIs, submittals, product data, and closeout documentation
- Manage change orders, scope clarifications, and cost impacts
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Communicate proactively with general contractors, owners, and internal leadership
- Ensure flooring installations meet manufacturer specifications and warranty requirements
- Drive project closeout, punch lists, and final acceptance
- 3–5+ years of project management experience in commercial epoxy, resinous flooring, or specialty coatings
- Strong knowledge of commercial flooring systems, including epoxy, urethane cement, MMA, flake, and quartz systems
- Moisture mitigation and concrete surface preparation
- Proven experience working with general contractors and commercial construction schedules
- Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings and specifications
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and scheduling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with project management software and MS Office
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to commercial job sites
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience in construction, project management, industrial projects
- Working knowledge of ASTM testing, moisture vapor emission testing (MVER), and surface prep methods (shot blasting, grinding)
- Ability to work on active commercial construction sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around equipment and materials
- Willingness to work off-hours, nights, or weekends as required by commercial schedules
