Construction Superintendent in Worcester

We are currently seeking a Construction Superintendent for construction sites in and around Boston’s North Shore. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with a proven track record in completing projects on time, with high quality, while maintaining a safe work environment.

• Development and adherence to the project schedule
• Maintaining the site‑specific quality control plan
• Development and maintenance of the site‑specific safety plan
• Development and maintenance of the site logistics plan
• Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work
• Prepare daily construction reports;
  Procore experience is a plus
• Generate weekly SWPPP inspection reports
• Serve as liaison with the community in the areas where the project is performed
• Maintain client relations with architects, owners, subcontractors, etc.
• Spearhead site coordination among trades and act as the site leader
• Proactively resolve issues as they arise and pull in appropriate parties for effective resolution decisions
• Maintain effective lines of communication with the Project Management team at all times
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on the critical path to ensure timely completion
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed
• Communicate with the project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and material submittals
• Ensure subcontractors fully execute and comply with their contracted scope of work
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions where appropriate
• Identify and address subcontractor non‑compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
• Identify conflicts in construction documents and communicate them for resolution
• Ensure subcontractors correct all deficiencies identified by the project team
• Handle issues of non‑compliance with subcontractors relating to quality of work or scheduling
• Keep the job site clean and organized at all times
• Ensure timely completion of punch lists with subcontractors
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents assigned to projects

• Strong leadership skills
• Experience with computers, mobile devices, and other technology
