Assistant Construction Project Manager
As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Assistant Construction Project Manager demonstrates the company's Here to Help® commitment to customers and clients. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.
The Assistant Construction Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects. They are responsible for delivering a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in performing construction services.
Primary responsibilities include compiling and resolving punch list items, performing final walk-throughs with customers, securing signed completion of completion and certificates of satisfaction from customers, conducting pre-construction meetings with customers, providing project updates to customers and clients, scheduling subcontractors and material suppliers, ensuring all work complies with plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work, documenting all project activities in the job file in WC 2.0, executing change orders, setting expectations on a project-by-project basis, maintaining quality standards through site inspections, providing evaluation and rating of all vendors and subcontractors, coordinating inspections with local jurisdictions, ensuring material suppliers deliver exactly what was purchased, ensuring subcontractors complete all work in accordance with their purchase orders, validating schedule and progress, identifying areas outside of contracted scope of work, and being familiar with and able to execute all roles and responsibilities of the Construction Coordinator.
Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma/GED, a superb customer service track record, effective written and oral communication, basic math skills, and experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.
Physical and work environment requirements include walking and/or standing throughout the day, frequent driving and sitting, occasionally climbing ladders, occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat, and the noise level at individual jobsites can be loud.
This is a full-time position, working Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected. Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year.
