Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager, Civil Engineering
Infra Rec is working with a leading heavy civil and infrastructure contractor based in Boston. The company is valued at approximately $500 million and employs around 1,200 people. They have recently secured multiple high-value projects with Eversource, National Grid, and MASDOT, covering site development, utility installation, foundations, and infrastructure work. They are now looking to add a Project Manager to their team.
Responsibilities- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including utility companies and public agency representatives
- Coordinate with superintendents and field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget
- Review and manage subcontractor and vendor contracts, change orders, and RFIs
- Track project costs and report on budget performance to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and contract specifications
- Support estimating and bid preparation for future project pursuits as needed
- Experience managing site development, utility installation, foundations, or infrastructure projects
- Background working with utility clients (such as Eversource or National Grid) or public agencies (such as MASDOT) is a plus
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent field experience
The role is based in Boston, with regular time split between the office and active job sites. Expect daily coordination with superintendents and field staff, ongoing communication with clients and utility representatives, and consistent tracking of budgets, schedules, and documentation. This is a hands-on role that requires staying closely involved in the details of each active project.
- Base salary up to $170,000, plus bonus
