Dental Core Training Year 1 Oral Surgery

Go back Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust

The closing date is 03 March 2026

We are recruiting for a suitably experienced dental graduate to fill a DCT 1 post that complements and supports our existing DCT1 post holders.

The post offers exposure to, and training in, many aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Although a locum appointment for service, it is our intention to provide the necessary support to enable the post holder to achieve the expected DCT 2 competencies for DCT 2 equivalence at the end of their post in Worcestershire.

Main duties of the job

During the period as post-holder you will be part of the oral and maxillofacial surgery on‑call surgical team. Your responsibility will be to take acute referrals of patients with oral and maxillofacial conditions and to look after the OMFS inpatients.
