Job Description & Responsibilities:Our studio is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging professional with academic or early professional experience in design and a strong interest in modern, highly custom residential and light-frame projects.
He or she is a collaborative communicator with a strong design sensibility, eager to contribute at every phase of a project, from schematic design through construction administration. He or she is excited to learn, problem-solve, and grow skills in a hands‑on environment that values precision, creativity, and thoughtful execution.
Qualifications and Experience we value highly:- Assist in developing design concepts and documentation for several active projects
- Participate in the detailing, approvals, and construction process alongside experienced team members
- Collaborate closely with project architects, consultants, and team members
- Contribute to drawing sets, presentations, and 3D models
- A strong interest in custom residential architecture and a desire to grow in a collaborative, rigorous environment
- Resourcefulness, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch Up (especially Sketch Up + Layout), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- A professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Internship experience in residential or light-frame architecture
- Familiarity with Massachusetts building codes and permitting processes
- Experience in New England architecture firms
