HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist with experience in BOTH Adult and Pediatric ENT for weekend locum tenens coverage in Worcester, Massachusetts.

This is a weekend call opportunity with no scheduled clinic responsibilities. The physician will provide coverage approximately two weekends per month, from Friday afternoon through Monday morning.

• BOTH Adult and Pediatric ENT required
• 100% call coverage
• No scheduled clinic
• Surgical coverage required
• Average callback approximately once per day
• Approximately 30% chance of OR involvement
• Some resident support
• No trauma coverage
• Massachusetts license preferred
• Exceptional candidates without a current MA license may be considered

Friday 4:00 PM–Monday 6:00 AM

Approximately two weekends per month.

This is 100% call coverage. There are no scheduled clinic visits associated with the assignment.

Candidates must have experience with both adult and pediatric ENT patients and be comfortable covering both populations during the same weekend.

The physician should be comfortable with inpatient consultation, urgent ENT evaluation and surgical/OR coverage when necessary.

Procedures and responsibilities may include:

• Adult ENT coverage
• Pediatric ENT coverage
• Cerumen removal
• Diagnostic laryngoscopy
• Diagnostic nasal endoscopy
• Excision of tongue fold
• Inpatient consultations
• Urgent/emergent ENT evaluation
• Surgical coverage
• OR coverage as required

Call activity is variable. The facility reports approximately one callback per day on average, with approximately a 30% chance of needing to go to the OR.
