Position Overview

Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Earth Science Teacher to join our science department. The ideal candidate will inspire students through student-centered, engaging instruction, foster a love of science, and support student success in accordance with Massachusetts curriculum standards.

• Develop and implement Universal Design for Learning (UDL) lesson plans that encourage learner-centered, student-owned educational experiences.
• Create a classroom environment of high expectations that is safe, supportive, and inclusive.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support and differentiate learning.
• Assess and monitor student progress; provide timely and constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents/families, and colleagues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science.
• Valid Massachusetts teaching licensure in Earth Science.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Vocational high school experience preferred.

• Salary: $52,486 to $98,772 per year
