JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach day and/or evening classes for the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. Part-time faculty positions are established to maintain an applicant pool for the Department. Appointments will be made on an as-needed basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Applicants are expected to hold a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field. Qualified candidates will be contacted by the Department. Applications will remain under consideration until the posting closes.

There is a potential need for both undergraduate and graduate courses. The goal is to integrate a successful applicant into related activities at WPI with teaching assignments matched with the background and availability of the applicant.

Compensation: $2,450 per lab section up to $9,800 per course
