General StatementTo help ensure all QCC students have a great experience in the Home Plate Food Pantry and Resource Center. To provide students with groceries, fresh fruit & vegetables to ensure no student goes hungry because of a lack of income or access to food.
Supervision ReceivedReports to the Manager of Student Resources
Duties and Responsibilities- Fill food orders for student pick-up for main food pantry & lockers.
- Receive inventory (unloading products from truck) and stock shelves.
- Answer phones and access online Pantry Soft information.
- Clean, vacuum, and organize pantry.
- Office skills such as answering phones, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
- Ability to learn a new software program "Pantry Soft".
- Ability to help students complete online registration forms.
- Welcoming, compassionate and positive work ethic.
- Commitment to helping support students with basic needs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, detail oriented & organized.
- Ability to lift between 25-40 lbs.
