Assistant Games Room Coordinator, up to 29 hours per week,
Monday through Friday
, flexible schedule between 2pm-8pm
. Please note the schedule follows the Worcester Public School vacation calendar and requires 8am-4pm during school vacations and summer.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Worcester serves over 500 kids from 5 to 18 years of age daily. We are a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, but we are our own company. This makes us unique since we have support from a national brand, but we are also a local organization that focuses specifically on the needs of the Worcester area.

We recognize thirteen holidays annually and our centers are closed. Additionally, if the holiday falls on a weekend day, we will be closed the Friday or Monday closest to the holiday.
The Assistant Games Room Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating social recreation programs and activities that strengthen interpersonal skills, foster good character and develop positive relationships and cooperation among young people ages 8-18 and to promote/recruit program participation.
Position is up to 29 hours a week, Monday–Friday, flexible hours between are 2pm-8pm during the school year and 8am-4pm during the summer program and school vacation weeks. May be required to drive club vehicles, some weekends may be required. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.All applicants will be required to pass a criminal offender record information check (CORI) and a national background check. Some applicants will need to be fingerprinted in accordance with EEC regulations.

Requirements QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience working with children 8-18 years of age and experience with E-Sports, gaming, tournament set-up, etc.
Skills/Knowledge required in the following areas:
- Physical ability to sit, stand, run and jump and be active for extended times (3 hours).
- Group leadership skills including an understanding of group dynamics.
- CPR and First Aid certifications, preferred.
- Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, kid‑friendly environment.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Bilingual, preferred.
