Job Description:
General Statement
To help ensure all QCC students have a great experience in the Home Plate Food Pantry and Resource Center. To provide students with groceries, fresh fruit & vegetables to ensure no student goes hungry because of a lack of income or access to food.
Supervision Received
Reports to the Manager of Student Resources
Duties and Responsibilities
* Filling food orders for student pick-up for main food pantry & lockers.
* Receiving inventory (unloading products from truck) and stocking shelves.
* Answering phones and accessing online Pantry Soft information.
* Clean, vacuum and organize pantry
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
* Office Skills such as answering phones, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word
* Able to learn a new software program "Pantry Soft"
* Ability to help students complete online registration forms
* Welcoming, compassionate and positive work ethic.
* Commitment to helping support student with basic needs
* Ability to maintain confidentiality, detail oriented & organized.
* Ability to lift between 25-40lbs
