As a teacher in the Worcester Public Schools you will provide rigorous instruction to a diverse population of students. • Remain up to date regarding curriculum content.
• Plan and assess curriculum and instruction effectively.
• Mentor students’ understanding of the curriculum, adjusting instruction, materials, or assessments when appropriate.
• Manage classroom environment effectively.
• Deliver effective instruction, making learning goals clear and using appropriate instructional and questioning techniques.
• Use innovative approaches and instructional strategies, including technology, to increase student learning and confidence.
• Promote high standards and expectations for student achievement.
• Promote equity and appreciation of diversity, ensuring equitable opportunities for all students, including those with special needs, 504 plans, and second language learners.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Massachusetts DESE license Early Childhood Pre‑K‑2
• SEI Endorsement

• Teaching experience in the content area
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs
• Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese, or an African language

Salary: $61,410 to $113,833 per year (based on Bachelor's Degree; potential to increase with higher education)
